Les Petite Choses Production is one of the most diversified and cross-disciplinary non-profit dance groups in Taiwan. After its transformation into a performing arts cooperative since August 2020, the co-op needs a new branding and growth hacking initiative, and this starts with LPCP's first introductory pamphlet.

Challenge

Two critical challenges needed to be resolved. First is sustainable utility. Nowadays, the role and functions that printed matters play must be reconsidered and carefully designed. Second is content. Editor-in-Chief needs not only integrating huge amount of information about LPCP's history and project info(2014-2021) but also come up with the initial proposal of this new pamphlet, concisely addressing the essential info while delivering its core value and smartly manifesting the mission.

Strategy

To simplify and frame information that makes communications user-friendly and pleasant, we utilize various dots of different sizes and colors as the key signage to guide the vision of audiences whereby they could understand LPCP's storyline in an intuitive and aesthetic experience. Furthermore, audiences are invited to unfold the pleasure of reading by literally 'connecting the dots visually and cognitively', enjoying the abundancy of printing dots while the action itself embodies the spirit of collectivity and cooperation.

Feature

As propaganda material, this pamphlet acts as an efficient communicative medium, unfolding a beautiful journey of storytelling between the audience and the brand. Before the audience receives the pamphlet, the pinky dot sticker will be put on gently, sealing the whole package by the sender like a token of gratitude. Once the audience receives it, the experience of unpacking will be like opening up a gift box. Each part of informative content was streamlined to less than 300 words with a specific QR code that lets them understand the basics or the full story, leaving space for the audience to reflect and engage while the QR code collected the de-identified behavior of a person who scans 'more info' for analytic uses.

The final pamphlet consists of two posters that were folded in different ways and divided into four different visions. Through the interactive folding of the two posters and creative ingenuity, the audiences no longer treat it as disposable consumables and, at the same time, increase the value of collecting. Besides delivering a clear and democratic brand image(each dot represents LPCP's member that constitutes the co-op) and helping LPCP be more remembered and impressive, the key events that occurred since its establishment are clearly summarized, and the performativity of content was sophisticatedly embodied through the narrative and the user experience.
